Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Two To-Do’s This Weekend: Canines & Comedy

Attention dog lovers and anyone who loves to laugh: Saturday has a lot in store for you!

(And if you don’t worship dogs and enjoy a hearty guffaw, we probably shouldn’t be friends anymore.)

First up for your weekend agenda is the open house for our favorite doggie hotel, Barking Hound Village. They’re opening a new location near SMU. Leave the pooches at home and enjoy a party for two-legged beings complete with tours of the accommodations and play areas, but more importantly, free margaritas, beer and dog treats. The first 150 people can also enjoy complimentary tacos from La Botana food truck.

Whether you have a pup who needs daycare fun or overnight boarding while you’re on vacation, BHV staffs the best in the business for plenty of attention and love.

Then, Saturday night, head to Dallas Comedy House for a night of queer improv with Let’s Get Busy Tonight (LGBT, get it?) You’ll see some fast-paced hilarity in a one-of-a-kind show that unfolds based on audience suggestions, on-stage chemistry and well, pretty much how the planets happen to be aligned at any given moment.

Between free margaritas and gay improv, it’s going to be an absolute dream of a day.
