Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Full Frontal Follies

Some people like peanut butter and chocolate.

Others enjoy gin and tonic.

But one of our favorite combinations is Uptown Players and male nudity. Call us old-fashioned.

This week, the Broadway smash musical The Full Monty comes to the Kalita Humphreys Theater for three weekends of fabulous singing, dancing and naked men playing down-on-their-luck steelworkers who come up with a delightful scheme to make a few extra bucks to support their families.

Based on the hit 1997 film, The Full Monty features a book by legendary gay writer Terrence McNally and a score by David Yazbek.

It was nominated for nine Tonys, but we’d be happy with just one.

Or a Rick, Tom or Greg.
