Santa Mouse was, is and will always be our favorite holiday book.
But we always have room for a few soon-to-be-classics in our collection. And the more irreverent, the better. That’s why this year, we’ve added two amazing Christmas books to the dusty bookshelf in the corner.
Santa’s Husband, tells the wonderful tale of a black Santa Claus, his white husband and their fabulous life all the way up at the North Pole. We can’t wait for this to be made into a movie so we can project it onto Roy Moore’s house every year.. Or better yet, wouldn’t this be an even better stop-motion animated holiday special? Hello, World of Wonder and Logo, get to producing!
Then there’s A Die Hard Christmas: The Illustrated Holiday Classic, quite possibly the only holiday book we’ve ever seen that includes images of people getting shot and being taken hostage. But it’s all OK because everything turns out fine in the end.
