Brunch Of The Week: Gettin’ Sunday Schooled

There was a time when Sunday School was our favorite time of the week. Mostly because we had a kick-ass ability to memorize Bible verses better than anyone else in class.

And damn if we didn’t love being rewarded with stickers and Munchkins from Dunkin Donuts.

Today, we couldn’t quote much from the Bible other than “In the beginning…” and something about “water that had turned into wine.” Because we really love wine.

Speaking of wine and things that make Baby Jesus cry, this Sunday marks the return of Sunday School Brunch to Hotel ZaZa in Uptown with a special St. Patrick’s Day theme.

If you haven’t ever been, this is one of the craziest brunches you might ever attend.

Loud music. Sparklers. Glow sticks. People in animal costumes. Pretty much non-stop debauchery that might just lead to you falling asleep on the bathroom floor (to predict something that has absolutely nothing to do with our own personal experience with the brunch.)

Tickets are $75 and include four hours of music from DJ Nikolas James, a multi-course, family-style brunch and bottomless mimosas. Remember what we said about passing out on the bathroom floor.

All makes sense now, huh?
