Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Drink Your Milk

We can’t imagine a greater honor as a gay man than being memorialized on a vodka bottle. Then again, that’s also where we want our ashes stored, so to those who know us it shouldn’t be much of a shock.

But there’s a limited edition Stoli Vodka bottle that commemorates someone far more important than us. IN observation of Harvey Milk Day (which was May 22) and to celebrate the life and legacy of Harvey Milk, Stolichnaya has launched the Stoli Harvey Milk Limited Edition bottle.

The label art was inspired by a mural drawn by Paraguayan artist Oz Montania showing the famous activist and first openly gay elected official in California with his famous quote, “Hope Will Never Be Silent.” Funds from the sale of this limited edition bottle will benefit Florida-based Harvey Milk Foundation.

This is just the latest effort in Stoli’s “Raising the Bar” program, a brand platform dedicated to the LGBTQ equality movement.

Harvey Milk was taken from us way before his time, but his impact will forever be celebrated by the LGBT community and a vital part of our culture.

He was here.

He was queer.

He made the world a better place.
