Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

I Love Lupe

History could—and should—be made on November 6.

Let’s get that anti-gay asshole Greg Abbott out of office and usher in an era of tolerance and inclusivity with the remarkable Lupe Valdez in the governor’s mansion. We loved her when she was our Sheriff in Dallas County and we can only imagine how much greater good she can do with more influence.

It’s a long shot because we haven’t had a Democrat (or woman) in that office since Ann W. Richards left in 1995. And it’s a long shot because she’s Latina. And lesbian.

But it doesn’t have to be if we get out and vote.

So join us this Thursday at Sue Ellen’s for Love Unites People Everywhere—A Pride Celebration from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A $20 minimum donation gets you into the event where you can learn more about her vision for Texas’ future.

Together we can make a change.

And we absolutely must.
