Picture it, Miami, 2018…
To mark the 33rd anniversary of the premiere of The Golden Girls this month, interior design service Modsy has re-imagined and re-decorated the iconic house for today’s tastes.
Like the show itself, many of the things that were en vogue in 1985 — large palm prints, Chinese Chippendale chairs, wicker and rattan — are popular again today, with a twist.
While the kitchen’s new look doesn’t particularly wow us, we’re over the moon about Blanche’s boudoir. It maintains the perfect balance of excess and class that only Ms. Devereaux could pull off.
Thank you, Modsy, for being a friend!
