Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Hung, By The Chimney

We used to think if we hung any undergarment on the mantle on Christmas Eve that Santa would fill it with goodies. So one year, we put our theory to the test.

Wide-eyed and excited the next morning, we came downstairs and found our tube socks filled with all sorts of fruit and candy. Yippee! Our mother’s giant granny panties were practically busting at the seams with stuffed animals. Hooray! But sadly, our dad’s jock strap hung like a droopy rag, with a shattered set of our much-wished-for Hummel figurines all over the floor below.

Apparently Santa, like us, didn’t realize that jock straps aren’t great at holding goodies. (At least not the kind we appreciated when we were six.)

But this year, there’s a place you can go where you’ll be guaranteed to get stockings full of incredible items, including things such as restaurant gift cards, event tickets, hotel packages, and original artwork. Maybe even some new underwear if you’re lucky.

It’s all at the annual Christmas Stocking Auction this Sunday at the Round-Up Saloon benefiting the Legacy Counseling Founders Cottage. So come ready to bid for fabulous prizes.

None of which will be found inside a G-string. Promise.

It’s “American Idol” time of year again, which means that anyone with some glittery eye shadow, no self respect and a big-old bag of crazy gets to strut their stuff for the whole nation. See How Thickette Is

Seeing a naked guy in person sure beats the heck out of seeing one online. The same thing goes for drag musical numbers: A queen who sings a song live will almost always be better than a lip-sync. That’s why we love Miss Big Thickette, the Turtle Creek Chorale drag pageant that’s been entertaining crowds for 30 years. It’s back […]
