Put Some Gay In Your Day!

If One More Thing Goes Wrong…

Growing up, we were obsessed with tragedy. No, not things happening in the real world, but the types of things that only befell the great Shelley Winters, Faye Dunaway, or Charo.

That’s why we love the musical Disaster! so much. Because who else but Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick could weave together dramatic, over-the-top plot points worthy of The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, and Airport ’79 with intentional humor (rather than the uncontrollable laughs that sometimes overcame us while watching those real 1970s flicks)?

From March 22 to April 7, Uptown Players stages their own over-the-top production of the short-lived (but wonderfully delightful) Broadway jukebox-musical comedy. Directed by B.J. Cleveland with choreography by Trevor Wright and music direction by Kevin Gunter, Uptown Players has brought together some of its own best talent.

For a real bonus treat, book tickets to the Thursday, March 28 show and interact with Rudetsky and Plotnick themselves after the show.

We promise there will be zero shark attacks.

(Hopefully.)
