Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

South By South Dallas

Make sure to charge your Fitbits and Apple Watches.

Because this Saturday you’re going to easily hit that 10,000-step target.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. for AIDS Walk South Dallas, which kicks off at 10:00 a.m. To participate, it’s expected that you raise or donate at least $25 to the cause.

According to the organization’s website, the mission of AIDS Walk South Dallas, Inc. is to empower all persons living with and affected by HIV/AIDS with emphasis on African-American MSM’s (Men Who Have Sex with Men), through prevention, advocacy, education, peer support, linkage to care and emergency financial assistance.

This year’s theme is “Reflecting On Our Past, Preparing for Our Future” and the event features live entertainment after the walk, so plan to make a day of it.

And maybe run in place if you’re still short of your steps goal.
