Put Some Gay In Your Day!

Magic Mic

Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do!

Singers get the chance to shine this week as two separate competitions kick off in the gayborhood.

First up is the premiere tonight of Saloon Star at the Round-Up. Auditions were held last Friday for a singing competition every Wednesday night for 12 weeks until the final round on July 10.

So come in tonight and start looking for a favorite to champion.

If you prefer actually being in the spotlight over the audience, then pop by Sue Ellen’s tomorrow night or any of the next four Thursdays to audition for Team Sue Ellen’s as part of the Karaoke World Championships USA. A spot in the state finals and eventually nationals could be at stake.

Who wants to bet “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” gets sung at least 512 times?

So whether you’re a clapper, a crooner, or a combo threat, head down to the Crossroads this week where there’ll be more music in the air than usual.

Although with decidedly less thumping bass.
