Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Flower Power

Happy Pride Week, everyone! Hope you enjoyed your extra-long weekend and are ready to celebrate all the fantastic events planned this weekend.

If you haven’t consulted our comprehensive PRIDE GUIDE, definitely check it out for a full list of fabulous LGBTQ activities all week long (and beyond Sunday’s parade!) We’ll be highlighting some of our must-attend recommendations the rest of this week, so stay tuned here, as well.

First up, Saturday’s Bloomin’ Ball Gala, a spectacular fundraiser for Access & Information Network (AIN). The night of inspiration, love, and hope kicks off with live music and cocktails before a three-course dinner accompanied by live entertainment from a seven-piece orchestra.

The evening ends with an afterparty that lasts until midnight, still plenty of time to head out and celebrate the wee hours of Pride Sunday with thousands of revelers at the bars. Or get a hotel room so you don’t have to go far to keep the party going.

Just make sure to sleep a little bit so you’re fresh for the parade Sunday afternoon at Fair Park.
