Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

The Art Of Pride

Not all Pride events take place on the dance floor or city streets. Sometimes, they’re in glorious air-conditioned, art-filled spaces, too.

This Thursday, mere steps from the weekend’s Pride celebration home base of Fair Park, Inclusionary Vision: A Story of Pride opens at Maestri Gallery.

Featuring LGBTQ-themed works about inclusion from artists Andrew Sedgwick Guth, Trevor Mikula, and other local artists, the opening-night exhibition will offer art lovers the opportunity to purchase original works with proceeds benefiting Resource Center.

It’s a fabulous chance to start or expand upon your personal art collection while sipping Deep Eddy cocktails and mingling with members of our community.

Vodka, gays, and art? Sounds like the makings of a masterpiece evening.
