Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Brunch Of The Week: Que Bella!

Nothing quite like vegging out during brunch—now in more ways than one!

Houston-based Bellagreen hasn’t been in Dallas long, but once the location at The Hill opened, it’s quickly become one of our go-to spots when we have the urge to be healthy—with a side of kick-ass fries.

Brunch follows the same made-from-scratch mantra as their other meals, plus plenty of vegetables to be had if that’s your jam. Also toast with jelly, if that’s your jam.

Everything’s better with bacon—especially chicken and waffles.

Bellagreen brunch runs the gamut from tried and true (chicken and waffles) to the more unique (sautéed quinoa with a poached egg and spicy Oaxaca sauce), but everything we’ve tried has been incredible.

If you’re looking for a deal, the biggest bargain on the menu might be the traditional breakfast plate. Clocking in just under $11, it features two eggs cooked your way, choice of meat (bacon, jalapeño bacon, sausage, or turkey sausage), potatoes O’Brien, and two thick pancakes topped with berries.

Also, make sure to inquire about the seasonal mimosa. On our last visit, it was a refreshing pineapple-jicama blend that has become a new obsession for our own summertime gatherings (goes great with vodka or tequila, too!).

With a great patio, fast service, and the chance to be healthy if you want to be (we do not during brunch, thank you), Bellagreen needs to be on your Weekend Funday radar for sure.
