Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Block Party People

Sometimes we take to the streets to protest.

But Friday night, we take to the streets to party! (With the biggest rainbow exclamation point imaginable.)

The Dallas Arts District plays host once again to an epic Pride Block Party celebrating all things LGBTQ across multiple arts venues.

With Pride-themed tours, performances, movies, local artists, food trucks, makers and artisans, drag shows, runways, and festivities taking place indoors and out, this will be the biggest, best gathering of like-minded people since Fair Park a couple weeks ago.

Among the many highlights are Janelle Lutz returning to give us all sorts of Friend of Dororthy realness in the Robert Emery-penned Judy Garland: The Elvis of Homosexuals, (which will also be broadcast on Facebook Live at 7:00 p.m. Friday).

You’ll also enjoy a kick-off from the Oak Lawn Band; drag queen story time with Cassie Nova; and performances all night from Rose Room favorites.

Of course, there are many, many, many (MANY!) more fabulous things to see, hear, & touch.

Most of them official!
