Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

She Takes The Cake

But who will that she be?

The nation’s #1 drag competition returns to Dallas next week for five days of (press-on) nail-biting drama and you’re invited.

Before we get to the ladies, it’s all about the guys as Mr. Gay Texas America 2019 hits the Rose Room on Monday, July 15 for a one-night battle royale. Then come the glamorous gals of the Miss Gay Texas America preliminaries Tuesday and Wednesday.

Contestants will compete in four judged categories: Male Interview (in suit and tie), Evening Gown, On-Stage Interview and Talent (big production number with costumes, sets, and dancers).

The entire fashion-dripping extravaganza culminates with a revue show on Thursday. That’s followed by a final Friday night showcase featuring the Top 10 contestants strutting, sashaying, and figuratively lighting the stage on fire for a chance to take home the crown.

Many of your local favorites have snagged the title in the past (including Drag Race favorites Asia O’Hara and Alyssa Edwards), so this is your chance to be a part of history and herstory in the making.

Mark your calendars now. Or forever hold your tuck.
