Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Ladies & Pageantlemen

Who’s ready for a Super Sweet 16?

No, not one of those obnoxious parties for teenagers. Something way, way better and (slightly) less hormonal.

The 16th Annual Miss LifeWalk Pageant delivers the drama this Sunday night and you’re not going to want to miss it. Not only is it one of the most entertaining and good-natured drag competitions out there, it’s for a great cause. (LifeWalk if you didn’t figure that out. And that, in turn, benefits Prism Health North Texas.)

Simply RSVP here and you’ll witness all the action first-hand. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the festivities immediately kick off with happy hour hosted by Heather Thomas. We recommend the signature Kruto Vodka Cosmpolitans, of course.

Plus, getting there early means you’ll have the best seat possible for the contest, which begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. Unless they’re on Drag Queen Standard Time.

Then you probably have time for another round.

Brunch Of The Week: Taking Eggs To New Heights

Even if you have acrophobia, there’s no reason to be scared of The Heights, a cozy little restaurant and bar tucked away in Lakewood. You can get breakfast here every day, but we of course we’re biased toward the weekend brunch experience, which takes everything great from the regular breakfast menu and throws in a quartet of burgers to round […]
