Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Home Sweet Black Tie Weekend Home

Don’t be tardy to the party. In fact, ensure that you will be on time by showing up a full day in advance!

Black Tie Dinner Weekend will be here before you know it (November 1 to 3 to be more specific). And rather than worry about rushing around to get ready, grab an Uber or Lyft and get all wrinkled on your way to the big Saturday events, why not book a room at the host hotel?

We stayed at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel this past weekend to check out all the recent upgrades renovations and we loved every minute. Not to mention the idea of a 5-minute elevator commute to Black Tie Dinner really makes our stress level as low as it can get.

Get a King room or a Queen-Queen for the special rate of $117 per night.

Now through October 19, Black Tie Dinner attendees can book a room for only $117 per night. Stay Saturday night only or make a weekend of it with a Friday night arrival. (Might as well go to the preview party that night, right?)

The bar at Open Palette features specialty cocktails in every color of the LGBTQ rainbow.

The restaurants and bars have been updated and the food at each is spectacular, whether you’re looking for fancy or casual. And over Black Tie Weekend they’ll be the gayest spots in town.

The cocktails rock, too, especially the every-color-of-the-rainbow options at the Open Palette bar on the lobby level. (We’re partial to the Green, Yellow & Violet cocktails, but we enjoyed drinking our way through the entire Pride Flag.)

There’s even one of the largest hotel fitness centers we’ve visited in a long time should you need to sweat off a few last-minute millimeters to fit into that tuxedo. Of course, you could use the extra time to take a disco nap.

Or see how many people you can meet that are showing up “25 feet away” on your favorite apps.
