You have the right to remain silent.
But you really should let your voice be heard.
Or at the very least, listen to the voices of others.
This Wednesday night, the Dallas Police Department hosts an LGBTQ+ Town Hall Meeting at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center and you’re invited. A panel of community leaders will discuss the efforts in place to ensure all members of the LGBTQ+ community are being served and protected.
And they want your feedback on what’s working, what’s not and any ideas that may help them make these efforts a success.
Not every city has such a progressive police department so we should take advantage of this opportunity to participate in change first-hand.
Or forever hold your peace.
