Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Boos & Booze

Only a few more days until we can all let our freak flags fly.

Halloween is upon us and as the custom dictates, the Saturday prior is when we celebrate. That means the big street party on Cedar Springs, parties at every bar along the strip, and what we consider the best deal in town—Spooktacular.

The annual scholarship fundraising event presented by the North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce always equals a fantastic time, but we consider it a smart move for maximizing your merriment (and your budget).

A $75 ticket (or $150 if you wish to go VIP) gets you music from DJ Corey Craig, a costume contest and our favorite treat of all: an open bar. With wristband access, this means you can come and go from other events in the neighborhood and not have to spend a fortune on cocktails or wait in long bar lines.

Of course, you’ll probably want to stay at Spooktacular for the duration because you’ll be having that much fun. Or possibly your costume doesn’t have the most sensible footwear.

At least if you’re doing it right.
