With less than two weeks until Thanksgiving Day, it’s time to start cutting calories in anticipation. At least that sounds good in theory.
But it’s also time to think about what you’ll be doing on the big feasting holiday if you don’t already have plans. If you’re looking for something fun and rewarding to do, then the Round-Up is where to be.
For the eighth year, everybody’s favorite LGBT country-western bar hosts the Oak Lawn Neighborhood Thanksgiving Celebration. There will be live entertainment and people are needed to help with many aspects of making sure this is a successful event for the community, from food prep to all kinds of donations.
If you’re interested in being a part, whether you’ll be there physically or not, simply e-mail Frank Martinez at firstname.lastname@example.org and he’ll be happy to give you all the details you crave.
Not unlike our fondness of pumpkin pie.
