Brunch Of The Week: Monday Funday

Take a look at that spread. Doesn’t it look tempting? Sure, maybe not quite as tempting as Tom Daley’s spread, but as far as food goes it’s right there at the top.

It’s all part of one of our favorite pastimes in town, the Jam+Toast Brunch at The Rustic. Normally only available on Saturday and Sunday, for the long holiday weekend they are offering a bonus MLK Day Jam+Toast.

$20 Bloody Mary pitchers with all the trimmings.

Everything comes family-style, from the food to the cocktails. For $16.95 per person, get a massive array of sweets and savories including cheese, fruit, baked eggs, sausage, bacon, Nashville hot chicken, avocado toast, French toast, smoked cheddar grits and donuts.

As for cocktails, you can order up $20 pitchers of Bloody Marys or bellinis, as well as $9.95 carafes of mimosas made with fresh-squeezed orange or grapefruit juice.

Live music is always part of the brunch equation (hence the “jam” in the title) with Joseph Veazie doing the honors on Monday, while JJ Max performs on Saturday and Ryan Berg and the Velvet Ears liven up Sunday.

We hope you’re able to enjoy an extended weekend and if so, make sure to raise a glass to the man for whom the holiday’s named.

Cheers to Mondays off—and American heroes.
