Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Singularly Horny

As much as we love Oprah, we don’t really connect with the media tycoon much beyond her excitement for cauliflower. Yet this past weekend, thousands of people forked over a lot of money to be in the presence of the Big O.

But we personally know someone we’d much rather get advice from, including other types of Big Os. Hilarious, beautiful and not afraid to talk about sex, author Jenny Block returns to the bookshelves with Be That Unicorn: Find Your Magic, Live Your Truth, and Share Your Shine.

In her latest paperback, she doles out solid, practical advice for tapping into your own inner one-horned creature to be the most authentic you possible. It features her signature conversational style that never feels preachy or that she knows it all. In fact, she comes right out and says that nobody has this whole thing called life figured out.

Even though it’s 160 pages, the book’s a really quick read because she makes any topic so damn much fun. If you don’t believe us, meet the delightful dynamo in person tonight at Rainbow Vomit for a free book signing (or shell out the extra $12 to explore the exhibits at the interactive photo-taking space).

It’s way cheaper than seeing Oprah. And a helluva lot more fun.

Cauliflower or no cauliflower.
