Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Brunch Of The Week: An Inside Job

With restaurant dining rooms closed, food delivery will be a main connection with the outside world for the foreseeable future. Because we can only enjoy home cooking for so long.

The good news, every major delivery service out there will let you have breakfast and brunch items delivered, coupled with alcohol delivery options from many, there’s no reason you can’t still enjoy your favorite weekend brunch ritual from the comfort of your own home.

Visit Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates or Favor for the most restaurant options, with brunch greats such as Original Pancake House, Norma’s Cafe, Crickle’s & Co., Hypnotic Donuts and Velvet Taco among the dozens of options. Plus, right now many are offering free or greatly reduced delivery fees.

An omelet in a box from Norma’s is just as good as an omelet on a plate at Norma’s.

Order direct from either Dallas Yolk location and you can even add a $2 donation to their Employee Support Fund that will go directly to supplement lost wages for Yolk’s hourly employees. Ten percent of all online sales will also go to this fund and you can choose to donate additional funds, too.

So no matter how you get your restaurant food the next few weeks, consider tipping a little extra (or a lot) because gratuity-reliant employees will be among the hardest hit during the mass quarantine period.

Peace, love and DIY mimosas, y’all.
