Man, that photo brings back memories of Easter as a kid. Not because our parents were big drinkers, but because we grew up in West Texas they would hide decorated jalapeños in the yard for us to gather.
Not only did we learn how to make great salsa instead of deviled eggs like all the other kids, but it also taught us not to go jalapeño-huntin’ before taking a tinkle.
Now there’s an Easter basket anyone in Dallas can order that features both jalapeños and a festive spirit of celebration, whether you’re isolating alone or with other members of a household.
But first things first. Who knew Easter was already this Sunday? (Oh, yeah, people who go to church.)
Well, the good folks over at Sourced Craft Cocktails have created a kit that makes 20 drinks (or enough for two people in our house on any given Sunday). It’ll put you in a better mood and you’ll be supporting local employees of the Austin-based cocktail delivery service.
For $100 including tax (or $5 per drink), you’ll get everything you need to make two different craft cocktail batches (four drinks apiece) and two bottles of wine to go with lunch or dinner.
The Whoa, Black Betty features premium vodka, freshly squeezed lemon juice and homemade blackberry syrup topped with sparkling water. The spicy margarita contains premium tequila, orange cordial, freshly squeezed lime juice and homemade honey syrup finished with hellfire bitters.
Normally, you get all the cool real glassware and tools needed to make the perfect happy hour at home, but because of all this COVID-19 stuff, the kit now comes with plastic cups. Hopefully, you have some glassware options at home that will be a little more fabulous, but as long as the drinks taste great, who really cares.
Of course, you can order any of their signature cocktail kits for delivery this week and make it a party for one or a virtual party for 20.
Now hop to it, bunny bitches!
