Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Bartsching To The Beat Of Her Own Drummer

Legendary New York City icon Susanne Bartsch has launched the careers of many household names (including RuPaul and Marc Jacobs), while also raising millions for LGBTQ and AIDS charities.

In other words, she’s a modern-day hero to many of us.

Well, she’s not one to let a little social distancing get in her way of showing people a good time. Tonight and tomorrow night, she’s hosting a couple kick-ass virtual parties.

Tonight’s On Top Online will set you back a mere $5 to $10 and get you access to her Zoom Room along with a slate of guests from around the world, including music by Aquaria, Amber Valentine and Tom Peters, who’ll be appearing live from Berlin.

Hosts include Amanda LePore, Adventure Dave, Chlamydia and more than a dozen others. One highlight will be an At Home House Ball featuring categories ranging from Best Wig (Rapunzel Realness) and Best in Bed/Pajama Look to All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go and Dance the House Down. Prizes include Veuve Clicquot, eyeshadow kits (because, of course) and other fun surprises.

Then tomorrow night, she’s putting together Bartschland Strip Down over at dragfor.fans, billed as a “digital entertainment experience of XXX-rated affairs.” This event requires a subscription, but right now you can snatch one for $4.95 for seven days.

Both parties promise to be incredible celebrations and bring a lot of joy to the free thinkers and open-minded souls of the world. Of course, tipping any of the performers via Venmo and other methods will be encouraged to those who can spare a few bucks right now, but it’s definitely not required.

We always tip, but it will surely be sad to not tuck a fiver into someone’s waistband (or another convenient depository).

But we at least have that to look forward to.
