Tough. Hairy. Not afraid to cut the nuts off a bull.
Man, we really miss seeing our mom right now.
But funny enough, those are also the traits of a typical Texas cowboy and there’s a legendary beverage that many call their favorite: Ranch Water. You know, the super-refreshing, delightfully strong mixture of tequila, Topo Chico and lime.
Well, now West Texas native and SMU grad Katie Beal Brown has created a variation on the classic. Pop your top and say hello to Lone River Ranch Water, a hard seltzer made from 100% agave, super-fizzy seltzer, lime and a gluten-free alcohol.
We’re declaring this the Gay Drink of Summer!
It’s so easy to drink with only 4% alcohol by volume and a mere 80 calories, while still recreating the flavors of its boozier alter ego. But unlike regular Ranch Water, we can drink six of these and not end up naked in Trader Joe’s covered in cookie butter, lying in a puddle of broken bottles of Two Buck Chuck.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
