Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

The Funny Side of COVID

If you can’t laugh at a global pandemic, what can you laugh at?

Sure, COVID-19 and the numerous political, social and economic side effects are far from funny in and of themselves, but we will take comedy any way we can get it during even the most trying of times.

This Friday, Stomping Ground Comedy presents the Queerantine Sketch Comedy Show, a socially distanced event that explores the unique struggles of the LGBTQ community during the global outbreak.

From online dating to drive-by Pride parades, everything comes from the LGBTQ perspective with an emphasis on humor. Donations will be accepted for two nonprofits: Promise House, supporting LGBTQ+ homeless youth, and The House of Rebirth, a housing initiative and community safe space created for and led by Black trans women.

So mark your calendar and kick off the final weekend of Pride Month with some much-needed levity—rated M for Mature levity. Just the way we like it!
