It’s OK To Feel Not OK

Good mental health is as important as good hygiene. Especially during times like this when so many of us are stressed, isolated and fearful about all the current uncertainties in the world, ranging from the presidential election to the fate of humanity.

Back in the 1970s, all it took was a long bubble bath to make things better:

But things today are considerably more complicated.

We always try to keep a positive outlook on every situation (avoiding the 24-hour news cycle helps tremendously, too), but sometimes it all becomes too much to deal with on our own.

That’s why it’s important to seek help when you need it, too.

Tonight, the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health) North Texas hosts a virtual event with leaders in mental health for the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a great way to find out the resources available to every different type of person on the queer spectrum.

So if you’re feeling blue or know someone who is, this is a great first step toward enjoying a better tomorrow.
