It takes a lot to embarrass us. Case in point: We’ve let a perfect stranger inject our penis with our own blood.
Yet there are certain bodily issues that are always a little dicey to discuss in person, even with our gay doctor. So to be able to reach out for help virtually could be a game-changer for so many people thanks to a new local digital clinic, Strut Health.
Founded by Dallas-Fort Worth-based physician, Dr. Simal Patel (pictured above), Strut has a variety of prescription treatments formulated in their offices for both men and women, as well as common over-the-counter generics at great prices. (Although, we really wouldn’t mind an in-person consultation with Dr. Patel. Hubba-Hubba!)
For men, they can treat cold sores and genital herpes, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and hair loss, but also prescribe anti-aging creams and other skincare and body care prescriptions.
All you have to do is set up an account, fill out a questionnaire with symptoms you’re experiencing—or problems you’re trying to alleviate—and they’ll do a quick consultation on which steps need to be taken via e-mail or video chat.
We tried the Strut anti-aging formula and it was a simple process to upload a few photos of our driver’s license and also multiple angles of our face. This is to both verify our identity and (presumably) count all the wrinkles we’ve gotten since March.
The FDA-approved Strut system makes getting prescriptions for these issues so convenient and quite timely considering face-to-face doctor’s visits right now are a rarity. (Hell, we’d be happy to do all our appointments virtually from now own).
If you want to check out Strut Health for any of these concerns, now’s the time because the online office visit fees are being waived and all you have to pay for are the prescriptions themselves.
