Other than two road trips within the past five months, we’ve only purchased three tanks of gas for our car. Total.
Because we’re still not driving much, our car’s beginning to feel a little neglected. And beginning to look a whole lot dirty.
Another side effect of not getting out on the town as often is only seeing occasional eye candy in our own neighborhood (and trust us, there’s not much). It’s more like eye granola bars—nothing to get all that excited about.
Well, this Saturday both our dirty-car and dirty-old-man needs can be fulfilled all in one visit to the back parking lot of the Round-Up Saloon. Start your day at 10:00 a.m. by bringing your car to a safe, socially-distanced, all-masked-up car wash performed by the employees of everybody’s favorite country bar.
Proceeds go directly to R.E.B.A. (Round-Up Employees Benevolent Association) to help out staff members who’ve been hit hard by the Covid-19 shutdowns.
So bring your filthy car (or clean one, who cares) and watch some buff, almost-in-the-buff guys buff stuff for a great cause. Or simply swing by with a big donation, a bigger howdy and an absolutely gigantic smile.
