Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Sick & Satired Of Everything

There’s preaching to the choir, and there’s PREACHING TO THE CHOIR. The latter is pretty much what you can expect from a new satire from writer Paul Rudnick and directed by Jay Roach, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Especially if you enjoy seeing your frustrations spoken by a gifted actor.

Coastal Elites stars Bette Midler, Sarah Paulson, Dan Levy, Issa Rae and Kaitlyn Dever and was originally written for the Public Theater in New York, it transitioned into an HBO movie filmed entirely under socially distancing measures.

Not only does it deal with politics, it also covers the pandemic itself and its unique challenges.

Will it change the minds of any undecided voters? Probably not.

Will it validate your opinions if you’re a liberal-leaning voter? Absolutely.

Will it make you laugh? 100% (but it may also make you reach for your Xanax).
