In a time where we increasingly dislike most people, we’re all in for organizations that do good for animals. It just so happens that gay-run Ranch Hands Rescue does a great job at helping both animals and people in need.
On any given day at the sanctuary, you’ll find rehabilitated farm animals finally living their best lives alongside people recovering from all sorts of personal trauma finding solace with the furry beasts. It’s such a great story, but one that’s even better when founder and CEO Bob Williams tells it:
Normally, Ranch Hands Rescue would be hosting its Ignite Hope Charity Gala this time of year, but a virtual Ignite HOPE Telethon has been arranged instead. And it’s packed with a Who’s Who of celebrities, politicians, athletes and other notable folks, including Senator Jane Nelson,
Fox 4 Sports Anchor Mike Doocy, singer Jack Betts and Oliver Stone Jr. among dozens of others.
Donations start at $50 and contribute to the incredible work of the Ranch Hands Rescue Human & Animal Sanctuary.
Best of all, you only have to wear a ball gown if you absolutely wanna.
