Sunday is supposed to be a beautiful day. At least according to the sixteen weather apps we monitor now that we have nothing better to do.
So what a shame that LifeWalk 2020 won’t be happening on its scheduled date.
But that shouldn’t stop you (or us) from taking part in the virtual main event in the great outdoors. That’s the beauty of virtual events, you know. You can watch them in the nude while sitting on a hippity-hop, or lying on a blanket near the lake (also in the nude, depending on the lake).
Of course, for a virtual event like this, why not strap on your athletic shoes, squeeze those AirPods in your ears and hit the trails with your phone tuned into Facebook Live, YouTube or the LifeWalk web site.
The event itself lasts only an hour and will be hosted by the lovely and super-talented Jada Pinkett Fox, who will provide a portion of the entertainment along with some very special guests. You will also learn how your donations and fundraising efforts help our local LGBTQ community at a time when we need it more than ever.
Then when it’s done rehydrate with a Gatorade and boost your potassium with a fresh banana.
Or join us on a patio with a vodka on the rocks.
