Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

E-I-E-I-Ohhh, Yeah!

The term farm-to-table typically describes restaurant fare, but in the days of increased home-cooking, it aptly applies to your dining room table, too.

At least now that One Potato meal kits have arrived in Dallas. From healthy-living guru and co-founder of Weelicious.com, Catherine McCord, comes this new organic service. We tried it out the week they launched locally and loved everything from the ease of prep to the freshness of the organic ingredients.

Even though we don’t have kids (at least none of the two-legged kind), one beautiful thing about One Potato is that it’s family-friendly from the meal preparation all the way to the stuffing in the face. (They even have special pricing for children’s portions.)

Household-pleasing meals range from go-to favorites including burgers, tacos, and pizza to semi-exotic dishes such as chicken tikka masala and pad thai. Pricing starts as low as $7.32 per serving for two to three recipes delivered per week.

Special dietary considerations include vegetarian, gluten-free and nut-free options, making it simple to cook a hearty meal for everyone.

And we know it’s crazy, but one of the best parts of the whole experience was the chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Each box comes with slice-and-bake cookie dough.

Or you could be good and have one of their (also-delicious) smoothies for dessert instead.

But that would just make us cry.
