Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Sequel Opportunity Offender

Oh, Borat!

We’ve missed him, yet didn’t even realize how much we missed him until we saw the character’s second full-length feature, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (or Borat Subsequent Moviefilm for short).

The way he so hilariously exposes hypocrisy, racism and injustice makes us squeal with delight, whether he’s strolling through our beloved State Fair of Texas, going undercover at a Mike Pence event, or making it possible to despise a certain Trump crony even more than we ever imagined possible.

For anyone who worried that a sequel wasn’t possible due to Sacha Baron Cohen’s now-iconic Borat character being so recognizable, fear not. With the aid of several disguises and the introduction of his teenage daughter (Maria Bakalova) who’s along for the ride around America, duping everyday people and high-profile politicians appears to be a sport that’s still easy to excel at.

We don’t want to give away a single spoiler, so add it to your weekend viewing agenda and we promise that unless you’re one of the Texans he makes a fool of on camera, you’ll have a nice time.

A very nice time.
