Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

The Most Important Ribbon Of The Season

Yesterday was World AIDS Day, but Resource Center commemorates the event tonight with Red Ribbon, a virtual tree lighting ceremony and candlelight vigil presented by Gilead.

Each year, we pause to show support for everyone who’s been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and remember those we’ve lost since the beginning. Even in its virtual format, the Red Ribbon event will be an uplifting celebration with entertainment from Turtle Creek Chorale from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.

From 7:00 to 7:30 p.m., the community is invited to the community center for a drive-thru tree lighting and candlelight vigil. Hot cocoa from Starbucks will be handed out for you to enjoy from the warmth, comfort and safety of your vehicle.

The event itself is free, but donations are encouraged in any dollar amount. They’ll be used to continue the many great programs and services of Resource Center.

Join your friends and this evening and start December on a powerful note.

And not just the high C that soprano dude in the TCC can hit.
