Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Barb & Star Deliver Hardy Har Har In Vista Del Mar

Kristen Wiig can do no wrong if you ask us.

Kristen Wiig can do no wrong!

Oh, sorry. We thought we heard someone question our opinion again.

And right in time for a weekend of hibernation and dreaming of warmer weather and vacations, the wildly hilarious Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar premieres today on nearly every streaming and on-demand platform in the known universe.

We got to watch the movie earlier in the week and it’s exactly the kind of absurdist comedy we need right now. It has a definite Austin Powers vibe that allows the actors to go to any length for a laugh and there are plenty.

Dr. Evil better watch out, too, thanks to a new villain and a Mini Me of sorts who make us tremble with laughter more than fear.

Even in the rare slower moments, you’ll find little details to make you giggle as the whole film builds up to one of the funniest sight gags we’ve ever seen.

We’re far less familiar with Annie Mumolo (Barb), but she now has a very special place in our heart, along with several guest stars who come along for the very silly ride from the opening scene all the way until the final closing credit.

And if you’re worried you won’t be able to figure out how to watch it, don’t worry. There’s a handy tutorial that explains it all.
