Ready to get out of the house yet?
Between the regularly scheduled pandemic and this week’s witch’s-tit-level winter storm, we’re feeling more locked down than ever.
But this weekend Dallas Theater Center has a solution for those brave enough to weather the still-chilly elements. Or you can purchase tickets for a future date when things will definitely be warmer.
With Something Grim(m) fairy tales get a whole new twist with an interactive, outdoor experience.
It all starts in the parking garage and the story unfolds in various segments, each revealing a part of the story. Illustrations, as well as pre-recorded audio and video clips will transport you on a journey that culminates with you making a moral decision based on the fairy tale.
DTC members can even take the mind trip virtually, so weather won’t even any issue.
In-person tickets will be limited to specific time slots, so purchasing as far in advance as possible is highly recommended.
Something Grim(m) promises to be one of the most creative pandemic-altered productions and we can’t wait to check it out. But we will definitely be waiting for warmer temps.
So, fellow fairies, are you in to experience this tale?
