Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Cinco De Mayo Do-Over

It’s National Clean Your Room Day today.

But instead of celebrating that nonsense, we’re going to pretend it’s Cinco de Mayo again and make ourselves a Mexican feast to celebrate our new favorite canned cocktail.

Tequila Cazadores came onto our radar last fall and it’s been a staple in our liquor cabinet ever since. Well, not to be outdone by all the pop-and-serve, ready-to-drink cocktails hitting the market, the 99-year-old tequila company has released its own trio of boozy refreshments perfect for summer sipping. And now that’s a go-to in our fridge.

Available in Paloma, Margarita, and Spicy Margarita varieties, each can’s filled to the top with cocktails made from 100% Agave Tequila Cazadores Blanco and agave syrup. We tried both the paloma and regular margaritas on the rocks by the pool last night and they were just what we needed for a perfectly simple and relaxing evening at home. We can’t vouch for the spicy margaritas because we hate spicy cocktails, but we’re pretty confident that fans of boozy heat will love them, too, if the others we sampled offer any indication.

With only 5.9% alcohol by volume compared to 35% or so for a typical margarita, you can sip on them all day and not get smashed off your ass. (Not that we’re judging.)

So join us in skipping National Clean Your Room Day and celebrate Cinco de Mayo again.

Or come up with your own excuse to indulge in a four-pack of excellent tequila cocktails.
