Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Let’s Get Dirty

Have we got a succulent morsel for you today.

And it involves morsels of succulents, completely without coincidence.

This Thursday evening, May 20, as part of the 31st annual LifeWalkPrism Health North Texas will be kicking off a virtual event series with a special at-home, build-your-own-terrarium event with the help of the fine folks at Jade & Clover in Deep Ellum. (It’s next door to this week’s Brunch of the Week spot, Postino, so keep an eye out for that review).

Purchase a kit for $45 and receive succulents, sand, rocks, and decorations to fill up a globe as you watch an expert guide you through the process via Zoom.

A portion of kit sales benefit the programs and services of Prism Health North Texas, so even if you don’t have a green thumb (ours is decidedly black and the kiss of death for any plant it touches), give it a shot because it goes to a great cause.

With any luck, this year’s LifeWalk will be an in-person event, but check back here for details on that once they’re announced.

Until then, let’s get filthy and stick our hands in holes.
