Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

What To Do This Pride Weekend In Dallas

Happy Pride Month, Dallas!

Even though there’s no parade this year, we’re thrilled to have several events to celebrate our love of the Dallas LGBTQ community. And with some careful planning, you can attend them all!

The official Dallas Pride events take place this Friday and Saturday at Fair Park. Update: Due to expected inclement weather, events have moved indoors.

If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, get a move on. Then get your outfit together for back-to-back nights in the Fair Park Coliseum hosted by Marsha Dimes with two completely different line-ups so you can get a two-day pass and twice the entertainment.

Friday night’s show features entertainment from Uptown Players, Jada Pinkett Fox, IDT Band, Raquel Blake, The Roommates, Daphne Rio, and Bleach. Saturday’s roster brings out the cast of the Rose Room, The Fly Queens, Sisters-in-Action, Sister Helen Holy, Kennedy Davenport, The FlannelTones, (a Turtle Creek Chorale ensemble), Anton Shaw, Niecee X and Kameron Ross.

Meanwhile, back in the gayborhood:

TRICK the Mini FEST will take place on Cedar Springs road between Woody’s and Bank of America for three days of DJs, drag, plus the Lil’ Miss Trick Contest and Mr. Trick Contest (Email tricktheminifest@gmail.com to enter).

Headliners include Tay Money, DJ Pornstar, DJ Ari, with resident DJs Alexander Bangs, Athena, Memoz and Charlie Fresh. Earlybird ticket sales end today, so click, click, click for a bargain.

But wait, there’s more!

Something tells us the Pride Pool Party will be slightly more crowded.

Hot and talented singer Ty Herndon gets the Pride party started Friday evening at Cedar Springs Tap House.

Crystal Queer Riot hosts a duo of parties with a “Reclaiming My Time” theme, including a Pride Dance Party and a Rooftop Pool Party

Viva’s Lounge Dallas hosts Release/Dallas Pride Official Dance Party.

And Man Candy Disco always makes for a great Sunday Funday at The Round-Up Saloon & Dance Hall.

Between the events at Fair Park, Cedar Springs, and all over the city, that’s a whole lot of Pride for one weekend.

But we’re more than confident you can handle it.
