If you need an excuse to get out of the house this weekend and drink some beer, look to a popular six-year-old for inspiration.
All weekend long, Texas Ale Project will be celebrating 2,190 days in business with their 6th annual Tap Fest that includes live music each day and plenty of new brews to try.
There’s a VIP event tonight where you can try a trio of beers yet to be released, light bites, and a round-table discussion about beer that they promise will be fun (and funny).
Or grab a ticket to Saturday’s festivities, which includes six five-ounce tastings in the ticket price (and more beer for purchase). Upgrade to VIP for entry one hour early, a six-pack of beer to take home and a $10 food credit. (Throw in those last two perks and the VIP upcharge pretty much pays for itself).
It’s going to be a beautiful weekend.
And when you’re TAP’d out, head to Oak Lawn and keep the party going. It is still Pride Month, after all!
