Don’t thaw out the turkey just yet. That headline’s about something else entirely.

This week, we’re celebrating a different kind of Thanks-giving with a healthy dose of Pride.

Come to the iconic downtown Dallas landmark, Thanks-giving Square, this week for the Pride Month Chalk Art Event. Create your own colorful chalk-and-concrete masterpiece expressing your personal definition of love.

It takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. through Sunday, but the Thanks-giving Square site itself is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. if you simply want to come see the artwork and not draw your own.

When you’re in the chapel, don’t forget to look up

While you’re there, make sure to go inside the interfaith chapel for some much-need peace and tranquility.

We can all still use some of that in our lives.
