Don’t thaw out the turkey just yet. That headline’s about something else entirely.
This week, we’re celebrating a different kind of Thanks-giving with a healthy dose of Pride.
Come to the iconic downtown Dallas landmark, Thanks-giving Square, this week for the Pride Month Chalk Art Event. Create your own colorful chalk-and-concrete masterpiece expressing your personal definition of love.
It takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. through Sunday, but the Thanks-giving Square site itself is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. if you simply want to come see the artwork and not draw your own.
While you’re there, make sure to go inside the interfaith chapel for some much-need peace and tranquility.
We can all still use some of that in our lives.
