Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Flap, Flap, Oink. Flap, Flap, Oink.

Uptown Players will return to live, in-person productions when pigs fly!

That’s what we thought when Covid crashed the party, but lo and behold, they are returning. And it’s with a play called When Pigs Fly!

Did our vaccine make us psychic?

In the zany Howard Crabtree classic, a man (coincidentally) named Howard attempts to launch an over-the-top musical review, but a litany of potential catastrophes—including an unhappy cast—threaten to sabotage the entire endeavor.

But as in every great theatrical production, the message at the end of the day is: The Show Must Go On!

Uptown Players has championed that concept, too, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them back on the boards where they belong.

Accompanied by airborne swine or otherwise.
