The show must go on, and for Theatre Three it’s about to go on after way too long a hiatus.
But before they kick off the 2021-2022 season, they’re looking for the best talent in the area—both onstage and behind the scenes.
This Friday evening, Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt, Associate Artistic Director Christie Vela, Executive Director Charlie Beavers and Joel Ferrell (director of Theatre Three‘s first show of the new season) joining forces to host a Coffee Conversation at Union on Cedar Springs Road.
If you’re a designer, stage manager, actor, musician, singer, dancer, or any other theater-related creative type, they want to chat. They’re also putting a special emphasis on talent that’s gender diverse, queer, trans, BIPOC and AAPI, something the theater company has always done rather well. But it’s nice that they’re even more actively serving this mission.
Bring a headshot, résumé and/or portfolio if you have it, or just show up and win them over with your personality first. They want to see everyone, regardless of experience, so it’s a great way to get your foot in the door.
And maybe trod the boards sometime very soon.
