Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Another Del-icious Comedy

When Del Shores puts pen to paper, laughter’s soon to follow, whether it’s on stage or on the big screen.

As a followup to his smash turn-of-the-millennium hit, Sordid Lives, Del filmed a sequel that debuted in 2017 called A Very Sordid Wedding that took us back into the trashy and hilarious world of Winters, Texas.

Now, he’s converted that second film into a play that will make its world premiere at the Kalita Humphreys Theater with Uptown Players. A portion of the sequel was filmed in the Dallas gayborhood, so it’s a full-circle moment to have the play premiere just down the street.

Brother Boy, Sissy, and many of your favorite characters return for the nuptials of Ty and his man. Expect plenty of family drama, religious undertones, and themes of equality—all played for laughs with a heartwarming undertone.

Tickets are selling fast, so book now or forever hold your peace.
