Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Tuesdays Call For Tequila

You may not be on a beach right now, but there’s no reason you can’t duplicate at least of few of the sensations.

So put on some salsa music, put on a swimsuit (or don’t), fill the bath tub with salt water and shake up some margaritas with Mijenta Tequila, a sustainable, artisinal, small-batch, Latinx-owned tequila brand direct from Jalisco.

It’s absolutely incredible. Not to mention one of the most complex-yet-sippable tequilas we’ve had in a long while.

The luxury-priced bottles of Blanco and Reposado definitely aren’t for doing college-style shots. Instead, they’re smooth and complex enough for sipping neat right from the freezer or in a spirit-forward cocktail such as an Old Fashioned or Manhattan with a south-of-the-border twist.

The Mijenta Oaxacan Margarita—Recipe at the end of this story!

Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close this week, overlapping with LGBT History Month, so be a good gay and raise a glass to the many great Hispanic contributions we enjoy in life.

And if you need something delicious to toast with, scroll to the end for a perfect-for-fall (and not pumpkin-spiced) Mijenta Oaxacan Margarita recipe.

You can order the tequila direct from their website and have it shipped right to your front door, too.
