Brunch Of The Week: Down On All Fours

In honor of Hump Day (or in this case, Dogs Humping Your Leg Day), we’re bringing you our Brunch of the Week selection a bit early.

But now you have time to plan a bit before this weekend’s festivities

Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge hosts a special Howl-O-Ween Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. this Saturday and it’s an ideal kick-off to the spookiest season of them all.

The special even features new fall brunch dishes and cocktails created by executive chef Dan Landsberg for the humans among your group. And for the four-legged friends you’re bringing, there’ll be plenty of treats, too.

See, we told you there’d be brunch in addition to dogs.

Dress up your pooch for the noon costume contest for the chance to win a staycation at the Hall Arts Hotel (home to Ellie’s), which is dog-friendly year-round. If you win, you can bring your barking buddy (up to 50 pounds) along for the trip, too, thanks to their Sit and Stay program bursting with pet amenities.

A portion of proceeds benefit the SPCA of Texas, and representatives from the nonprofit organization will be on property during the brunch, as well. Ask them about dogs available for adoption, too.

Brunch and dogs in one place?

Throw in some male strippers and we couldn’t think of a better Saturday afternoon if our life depended on it.
