Put Some Gay In Your Day, Dallas!

Free Symphony Music! Get Your Free Symphony Music!

One of the brightest moments of the peak pandemic era was the ability to see world-class musicians perform free concerts all over Dallas-Fort Worth.

Well, tonight the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and The Concert Truck team up again for a new season of outdoor performances in a neighborhood near you.

You’ll find concerts taking place mornings, afternoons and evenings, so surely one of the 22 scheduled events will fit into your schedule. Concert pianists Nick Luby and Susan Zhang (who are also the founders of The Concert Truck) will be among the performers, along with members of the DSO and other local arts groups. So, you never know exactly what you’ll get.

Dueling xylophones? Underwater harping? Violinists in clown costumes dancing on top of the vehicle?

It won’t likely be any of those scenarios, but the element of surprise certainly adds to the allure.

That and the social distancing that we’re still so fond of whenever we’re surrounded by randos.
